Jewellery Size Guide

Choosing the right size is an essential part of how a piece feels and sits on the body. This guide will help you find your ring size and choose the right necklace or pendant length.

As every body and every piece is different, the dimensions shown on each product page should always be used as the final reference.

Finding your ring size

Before you measure

Your fingers are not always the same size.

Finger size can change throughout the day and with temperature. Heat can cause fingers to swell, while cold can make them smaller. If you know that your fingers tend to swell, take this into account when measuring.

For a more reliable result, measure the same finger more than once, at different times or under different conditions. Your two hands may also differ in size, even on the same finger, so always measure the hand on which the ring will be worn.

How should the ring fit?

It should sit comfortably at the base of the finger without spinning excessively or slipping off when you move your hand. You should be able to move your finger naturally and remove the ring without difficulty.

Inner diameter
01

Measure an existing ring

Use a millimetre ruler. Place a ring that fits you on a flat surface. Measure the inner diameter at its widest point, without including the metal edges. For an accurate result, measure to the nearest 0.1 mm. Then compare it with the table below.

02

Measure your finger

Wrap a narrow strip of paper around the base of the finger. Mark where the ends meet, then measure the length in millimetres. This measurement corresponds to the approximate inner circumference of the ring.

For the most accurate result

If you cannot come to the atelier in Paris, I recommend having your ring size measured by a professional jeweller locally. Measure the finger on which the ring will be worn, as sizes can differ between hands and fingers.

Necklaces and pendants

The same chain wears differently depending on the shape of the neck, shoulders and chest. Chain length is measured from end to end, clasp included.

To find your length, wrap a ribbon, string or measuring tape around your neck and find the position that feels right. Move it up or down until it sits where you want the necklace to fall. Mark the point, then measure the loop from end to end. The result is your ideal chain length.
